Harris Is ending Her Asia Trip, Confronting Chinese Communist Party’s Threat Throughout
Translated by: MOS Fitness Team – Huluwà
On August 27, U.S. Vice President Harris will end her first Asia visit after becoming the vice president of the United States. Harris visited Singapore and Vietnam during her trip, both countries are two key-partners of the United States in curbing the Chinese Communist Party in Asia.
The importance of responding to the Chinese Communist Party’s threat was highlighted by the Vice President and the leaders of these two countries in the meeting.
In Singapore, she blamed the Chinese Communist Party for continuing to coerce and threaten other countries in the South China sea area, as well as for its hegemonic behavior in claiming to have sovereignty over most of the South China sea.
Before the meeting with Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, he said that the U.S. and Vietnam need to find ways to increase pressure on Beijing to follow the United Nations, the Convention on the Law of the Sea, and to act against the Chinese Communist Party’s bullying behavior and excessive claims to maritime rights.
Harris’s trip comes at a time when the Chinese Communist Party controls Afghanistan through the Taliban and expanding its own hegemony in Asia, and the U.S. attitude of tightening relations with Asian allies and jointly fighting the Chinese Communist Party is obvious.
