[Headline News] Rep. Greene States Trump Rallies Did Not Cause Unrests

The second impeachment has been unleashed by the Never-Trumpers on Capitol Hill. The ridiculous impeachment is based on the claim that President Trump incited an insurrection act against the government on January 6. Obviously, it is yet another vicious attack aimed to smear President Trump’s reputation to be sure that he will have no chance to run for public office in the future.
During the debate of the second impeachment on January 13, Georgia State Rep. Marjorie T. Greene (Republican), rejected the impeachment resoundingly, “[Trump] has held over 600 rallies in the last 4 years & none of them included assaulting police, destroying businesses or burning down cities…”
This raised a good point. Behind the claim of “inciting an insurrection,” it is also insinuating – that Trump’s supporters are all a bunch of short-tempered, zealous followers who cannot think independently. But is that so?
Remember, during the weeks leading up to Election Day (November 3), many communities and businesses had been in a frenzy boarding up their windows? Thousands of dollars had to be shelled out to do this on top of the financial stress that was endured by businesses due to the pandemic. People were told that all these were led by the pretense that in case Present Trump loses the election, his supporters might start looting, shooting, or rioting.
But the truth was, even after the mainstream media prematurely declared Biden’s victory, there were no such violent riots as a result. When Biden’s supporters were out on the streets celebrating, horn-honking, pot-clanking, the people who voted for the opposite side did not react recklessly by taking it out on looting or burning stores, although they felt hurt, angry, frustrated, and cheated observing the overwhelming voting irregularities.
What made them remain in a civilized manner? The millions of Trump supporters hold conservative beliefs; they understand what they are rooting for is not just President Trump himself, but what he stands for, and what he fights for – upholding the Constitution and the rule of law. Just as what their leader reiterated in his latest statement released on January 13.
“In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be NO violence, NO lawbreaking, and NO vandalism of any kind. That is not what I stand for, and it is not what America stands for. I call on ALL Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers. Thank You.” President Trump said in his statement.
God Bless America!
