Proud Boys Founder Gavin McInnes Responds to Shooting in WA, Says Antifa Are ‘White Kids With Guns Shooting People of Color’
Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes has responded to the shooting of the men’s social club member Tusitala “Tiny” Toese being shot in Olympia, Washington.
The Proud Boys and other right wing protesters had been facing off with members of Antifa who showed up to antagonize a medical freedom rally. Toese was reportedly attempting to chase them off when he was shot, though it is currently unclear who shot him.
Toese is Samoan, but that has not stopped far-left activists and media from portraying him as a “white supremacist.”
“The narrative is that Proud Boys are dangerous Nazis even when you have Antifa shooting people of color,” McInnes told the Gateway Pundit. “This isn’t the first person they’ve shot and it won’t be the last. When are people going to wake up?”
McInnes added that “we saw the same behavior at CHOP. White kids with guns shooting people of color.”
Indeed, a total of four people were shot at the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest in Seattle. Two of the victims died. All four were people of color.
Proud Boys are a diverse men’s social club, with many members who are black, Asian and Latino — including their current leader, Enrique Tarrio.
“Antifa are violent whites who regularly shoot people of color and gays,” McInnes continued. “They hunted gay patriot Jay Bishop and assassinated him in cold blood. The ideology they pretend to support is a front. They want to murder innocent people and destroy America because they are mentally ill.”
Aaron “Jay” Danielson, better known online as Jay Bishop, was shot and killed by an Antifa militant in Portland last year.
“Tiny of the #ProudBoys has been shot here in Olympia, Washington. The shooting took place .8 miles away from the state Capitol, after Proud Boys pursued #Antifa Black Bloc- who showed up within a square block of a Medical Freedom protest,” leftist photojournalist Jeremy Lee Quinn tweeted with a video.

People at the scene said that Toese was shot in the foot or ankle. He appeared to be awake and alert in footage following the shooting.
